At Millwood Hospital we understand the transition from childhood to adulthood can be a time of tension, difficulty and turmoil. During this transition, some adolescents withdraw from family and friends, engage in self-harm, use drugs or become depressed. These symptoms may indicate more serious problems.

Treatment Program

Expertise and environment provided that can help seriously troubled teens transition from childhood to adulthood
Adolescent enabled to strengthen daily functioning in social and interpersonal relationships by using problem solving skills learned in program
A successful adjustment back to daily activities facilitated by discharge planning, the help of referral sources and a plan for ongoing care
